Join the On The Wave Free Training Courses to Enhance Your Maritime Skills and Contribute to Ocean Protection!
The registration to attend the courses on Ocean Protection, Electronic Fishing Logbook, Marine English, Cetacean Observer, Electronic charts, and Basic digital skills safety are open to students and professionals from the maritime sector!
The On The Wave consortium is currently developing six training units, each consisting of 25 hours, to integrate the formal or non-formal training offer of the partnership. From May to July 2023, For-Mar with the support from SPEA will promote in Portugal 3 to 4 courses for free addressed to students and professionals of the maritime sector..
Interested individuals and groups can presently sign up for these courses on the project’s website.
The initiative seeks to evaluate and validate the adequacy, relevance and contribution of the short-duration training units and support materials developed, in the capacity building of students and professionals from the maritime sector. The On The Wave project is offering an excellent chance for people wishing to improve their competences to advance sustainable practices in the maritime sector. Furthermore, by attending the courses, participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the quality, sustainability and innovation of the maritime sector and be actively involved in the process of review and improvement of the offer of the National Catalogue of Qualifications for the maritime sector.
