In the case of the short-duration training units, the consortium developed 6 main units (available here), of which 4 were implemented in Portugal:
WHALE WATCHING BY MARITIME TOUR OPERATORS
Two editions were promoted: one combining online with face-to-face sessions promoted in Portimão and joining 12 participants. Another edition was promoted in the format of a webinar and open to the community, involving 60 participants (information on the webinar here).
OCEAN CONSERVATION
Promoted online between July and August counting 19 participants.
BASIC DIGITAL SKILLS FOR SEAFARERS
It started in July 2023, was promoted in a face-to-face format and engaged 23 trainees.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE – COMMUNICATION ON BOARD
It took place online in August 2023 and 8 trainees benefit from it.
