What is happening and what is next?
On the final countdown, major events are taking place and are expected in the On The Wave project: implementation of training on maritime topics addressed to professionals and the general community, the launch of 3 new STCW training courses and the major final event!
Training on maritime topics
6 training units of 25h were developed in the scope of the project, and For-Mar and SPEA started implementing four of these units in different contexts of learning, in accordance with the following calendar:

STCW training courses
In the last year, For-Mar and Simsea have jointly developed three STCW training courses to be integrated into their training offer for maritime professionals. The development of these courses involved companies and experts from the two countries and are the following ones:
- Crowd management and safety training for personnel providing direct service to passengers in passengers spaces
- Training course for maritime instructors
- Train the simulator trainer and assessor

On The Wave final event
On the 14th of November, the consortium will promote the On The Wave final event in Lisbon!
The event will count with the participation from policy makers, companies and experts from the maritime sector and a particular focus will be on the main results of the project.
